After teaching and practicing four classes (Alignment Yoga Sculpt) last week where we did 100 squats (each practice!) with various weighted exercises, my hips are SUPER tight and not very happy with me.
So, this week I thought I would create a practice that was hip specific. There are 20 some muscles around the hip joint and paired with tight fascia (the connective tissue) this can create a lot of discomfort. This 30 minute practice will bring you relief and help you get back to your sport or activity faster.
I usually experience the wrath of hip tightness the day after an intense workout. Tight hips slow yoga. and check out my hips playlist that goes with the video on Spotify. This practice is slow moving and restorative.
