Learn Online, Then Train Live
THE HYBRID TRAINING · ONLINE + LIVE
A 40-Hour Online Course Plus a Live Weekend at Your Studio
In my experience, this hybrid format works really well. Most of the lectures and method learning happen online before I arrive, so teachers aren’t sitting on their mats through the workshop. They spend the live hours practicing and learning the postures and exercises.
Afterward, the 500+ page manual gives them hundreds of exercises to refer to every time they build a new class. It’s a resource they’ll use a lot. The digital manual comes with the course, and a printed, spiral-bound copy is available for $60.
STEP 1
Learn Online
About 3 weeks before, teachers get the AYS course in Teachable and finish Module 1 and Sections 1 to 4: class format, warm-up, Sun A and Sun B.
STEP 2
Train Live with Marda
Hands-on weights, cueing, core and mat work, modifications for older adults and beginners, and teach-backs with my personal feedback.
STEP 3
Finish and Teach
Teachers finish the online course, submit an original 60-minute class plan and earn a 40-hour certificate of completion.
UPGRADE
Comprehensive Evaluation
Add $200 for a personal review of a class each teacher films, with feedback on alignment, cueing and sequencing. Add it at registration or later.

PRICING & FORMATS
Simple Pricing, Two Weekend Formats
Every registration includes the full 40-hour online course in Teachable. The live hours count toward the 40, and teachers finish the rest online.
● Essentials: 10 live hours, Saturday and Sunday morning
● Immersion: 16 live hours, Friday evening to Sunday, with cueing labs and full teach-backs
● $350 per teacher, or $550 with the comprehensive evaluation
● Every teacher gets the 500+ page digital manual. A printed, spiral-bound copy is a $60 add-on
● Minimum 6 teachers (8 for fly-in weekends), paid in full at registration
● You provide the room, mats, blocks and light dumbbells for each teacher
QUESTIONS
Studio & Gym FAQ
Who can attend?
Yoga, group fitness, barre and Pilates teachers and personal trainers. They don’t need to be yoga teachers, and teachers from nearby studios can join too.
What if we don’t reach the minimum?
At 21 days out, we either move the date or give every registrant a full refund. Your studio is never on the hook.
What do teachers do before the weekend?
They get the online course about 3 weeks ahead and finish Module 1 and Sections 1 to 4, so every live hour goes to practice and teaching.
Do you travel outside Colorado?
Yes. Outside driving distance, the host covers travel and lodging, or we use an 8-teacher minimum.
